PUPPY KINDERGARTEN, MANNERS, OBEDIENCE, SHOW HANDLING AND RALLY OBEDIENCE CLASSES

**All class participants must have a 2010/2011 release form on file at the classes and show a copy of your dogs Rabies certificate (except Puppy Class) before attending any class.  Available class space must be verified by contacting the appropriate instructor before application will be accepted for Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Manners, Introduction to Rally and all Agility classes.**

Wednesdays            Location:  Osterville Community Center

7:00 PM Puppy Kindergarten, AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Testing Included - Your puppy's first formal training experience, including puppy-level obedience and socialization. 6 week class. All participants that complete the class successfully will receieve a Puppy S.T.A.R. Certificate and medallion from the American Kennel Club (AKC).  For more information regarding the American Kennel Club S.T.A.R. program, click here. Next session begins on September 22, 2010.  Fee Schedule:  $85.00 for members and $95.00 for non-members (subject to change)

8:00 PM Canine Good Citizen Class - Next Session TBD.  This is a 6 week class.  Fee Schedule:  $95.00 for members and $105.00 for non-members (subject to change).  Contact John Cappelina for more information.

6:00 PM Basic Manners - For pet owners who want to learn how to train/communicate with their dogs as pets. 7 week class. New classes will begin on September 22, 2010.  Fee Schedule:  $95.00 for members and $110.00 for non-members  (subject to change)

8:00 PM Basic Obedience - 6 week class. Prerequisite is Basic Manners or equivalent previous training.  Next session will begin on September 22, 2010.  This class includes the Canine Good Citizen Testing for certification during the final week. Fee Schedule:  $95.00 for members and $110.00 for non-members  (subject to change)

7:00 PM Intermediate Obedience, Drop In/Run Throughs  (These drop in sessions are every week and may be enjoyed once basic obedience is completed) - Continued reinforcement of Basic Obedience skills, with an introduction to competition skills, plus Canine Good Citizen skills and testing if desired. Fee Schedule:  $5.00 for members per class and $10.00 for non-members per class (subject to change).  

8:00 PM Show Handling, Drop In - For dogs/owners involved in breed competition. Fee Schedule:  $5.00 for members per class and $10.00 for non-members per class (subject to change)

8:00 PM  Introduction to Rally Obedience -  Our next Introduction to Rally Obedience class start date is TBD. Fee Schedule:  $95.00 for members and $110.00 for non-members (subject to change)  

7:00 PM Rally Run Throughs - Last Wednesday of each month only.  Fee Schedule:  $5.00 for members per class and $10.00 for non-members per class (subject to change).

The following are all Agility Training classes.  If you are interested in these classes, please review the information and prerequisites found in the Foundation 1 and 2 class descriptions.  Please contact instructor Heather Garre with any questions, and to pre-register at 508.896.0126. Please do not send in registration forms without pre-registering first, as class sizes are limited.

Agility Foundation - Obedience for Agility 1 -  New classes start July 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM.  Contact Heather Garre for more information.  If you're just starting, learn the ABCs of agility and begin running short sequences.

Foundation 2Contact Heather Garre for more information.  Classes starting on July 6, 2010  Proof your foundation handling and obstacle skills and reliably run short off-lead sequences.  Instructor if Nancy Bishop.
